The Lake Superior Binational Forum invites the public to its first 2009 open meeting of the year on Friday, January 30, from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Ballroom at Barkers Island Convention Center, Superior. The purpose of the meeting is to hear about the impacts of the shipping and transportation industry on the environment and economy of Lake Superior. The public is also invited to give public comments about this issue and any others related to the management and care of Lake Superior.
Free refreshments will be served; the meeting is free and open to the public.
